Review of the Last Intra-day:
During previous intraday the Nifty moved in a range of 70 points. The Share Bazaar closed 14 points positive at 7123, after making an intraday high and low of 7152 and 7082 respectively. Yesterday, European indices were down. FTSE was down 38 points, CAC was down 56 points, and DAX was down 98 points. US markets were down. Dow Jones closed down 167 points, S&P 500 was down 17 points, and Nasdaq was down by 31 points.

FII and DII Activity in Last Intraday:
On the last trading day, FIIs bought Rs. 935 crores in cash segment whereas DIIs sold Rs. 385 crores in cash. FIIs purchased Rs. 232 crores in Index futures and FIIs sold Rs. 1563 crores in index options. In stock futures FIIs sold Rs. 1458 crores and in stock options FIIs bought Rs. 44 crores. This is the provisional data from NSE. Here you can view final data from SEBI. 

Options Segment Activity:
In f&o market, May series options data tells that, Nifty 7100 call adds 10.9 lac shares, Nifty 7200 call adds 9.6 lac share and Nifty 7400 call adds 15.3 lac shares. Nifty 7100 put adds 7.6 lac shares and 6800 put adds 16.3 lac shares. Highest OI of 61.7 lac shares is at 7200 call and 54 lac shares is at 6400 put. According to options data, bulls and bears are building positions for election results.
  
Currency Market:
In the currency market the USDINR closed at 59.29. The INR was stong by 0.39 paisa.

Beginning of the Day:
Today morning, Asian markets are trading down. Nikkei is down 242 points, Hang Seng is down 101 points, and Kospi is down by 10 points. Here you can find latest detail on world market indices along with intraday charts. SGX Nifty is trading 44 points negative till 7:50 a.m. Today is day of the results of parliament elections. So we can expect a huge volatility. 

Today Nifty opened at new life high of 7270 up 147 points and made a all time high of 7563 and low of 7264.  


Mid-day Review:
For the intraday, till 1:05 p.m. Nifty is up about 212 points. Top gainers for Nifty are SSLT, PNB, and DLF while losers are DRREDDY, INFY, and TECHM. Intraday Options Data:
On the options front, all the higher level calls seen heavy selling that means the market has made its top for this month. Intraday data of options tells that, highest OI is at 7000 put and 8000 call. Full detail of Nifty options can be viewed here

Concluding Updates:
Nifty has made an intraday high of 7563 and low of 7130 till 3:02 p.m. Intraday options data tells that, Nifty 8000 call and Nifty 7000 put have the highest OI. I have closed all intraday trades. BTST for the day is none. STBT for the day is none.

    1. But till now Nifty is facing resistance near the level of 6357 i.e. its highest level of January 2008 and again tested it in November 2010. In December 2013 Nifty crossed 6357 and touched 6415, but very next day it can’t maintain that level.
      Banknifty is not supportive and banks and financials constitutes nearly 29 percent in Nifty.

  3. You are right, this time there are 80 percent chances that we may be able to see Nifty in new range and this should happen in this current month of March 2014. Once crossing this level the nifty should go near 6550-6600.
